The Challenge We’re Addressing
The Luo community is facing a growing challenge as younger generations become increasingly disconnected from their cultural identity and traditional values. The use of Dholuo is steadily declining, with fewer people actively speaking or learning it. At the same time, rich oral traditions stories, proverbs, and wisdom passed down by elders; are at risk of being lost due to lack of documentation. Access to cultural education remains limited, especially through modern and engaging platforms, and as a result, Luo heritage continues to be underrepresented on a global scale. Cultural Documentation Project
Recording oral histories, traditions, music, and stories to preserve Luo heritage digitally.
Language Revival Program
Promoting the learning and everyday use of Dholuo through community initiatives and digital content.

We support and promote traditional music, dance, and storytelling as powerful forms of cultural expression. By encouraging creativity rooted in heritage, we keep traditions vibrant and relevant in modern times.
Digital Heritage Platform
Our digital platform provides global access to Luo culture through stories, media, and educational resources. It serves as a living archive where anyone can explore, learn, and contribute to preserving heritage.
